// how it works
A DIFFERENTway to makeFASHION.
Four steps. One garment. Made for you.
- /01
A designer uploads a design
Independent designers from anywhere in the world upload their original work to Wololoom — with their story, their intent, their craft behind it.
- /02
A customer discovers and orders
You find a piece you love. You choose your size, optionally personalise it, and place an order. No pre-existing stock — it is made for you.
- /03
A local maker crafts it
A skilled maker near you receives the order and the design brief. They cut, sew, and finish the piece with care. Close to you. By hand.
- /04
Your piece arrives
Made to your measurements. Produced on demand. Delivered without crossing an ocean. A fashion object with a traceable origin story.
Fashion should be local, human, and intentional.
Not made for stock. Made for people.
· The problem
Overproduction
Millions of garments are made speculatively and end up unsold, incinerated, or in landfill.
· The answer
No excess inventory
We do not guess demand — we fulfil it. Nothing is made speculatively.
Not designed by algorithm. Designed by humans with a point of view.
· The problem
Generic sizing
Most clothing is engineered for a statistical average. You are not an average.
· The answer
Made to fit
Garments are produced to your measurements, not to a statistical average.
Not produced at distance. Crafted close.
· The problem
Disconnected supply chains
A shirt designed in Milan may be cut in Cambodia and sold in São Paulo — the carbon and cost are passed to you.
· The answer
Local production
Your maker is near you — reducing shipping distances, import friction, and delivery time.
Not disposable. Made once. Made well.
· The problem
Broken value distribution
Designers receive a fraction of what a garment earns. Makers are often invisible.
· The answer
Better value distribution
Designers earn more per piece. Makers are compensated fairly. Less margin disappears into middlemen.
Wololoom is a bet on a different kind of fashion industry — one where the designer knows what they made, the maker knows who will wear it, and the customer knows the story of what they own.
